Local Republican lawmakers to hold panel discussion on climate and community investment law
CORNING, NY (WETM) – On Monday, November 15, local Republican lawmakers will host a panel discussion with industry stakeholders regarding the Climate and Community Investment Act (CCIA) in Corning.
In an official press release, lawmakers say “The CCIA, a proposal put forward by Democratic majorities in the Senate and Assembly, could raise the cost of gasoline to 55 cents per gallon and raise the cost of gasoline. domestic heating by more than 25 percent. “
