Greenskies adds extensive rooftop solar array to senior community center

In addition to reducing operating costs, this solar panel will benefit the community in other ways. It will improve their energy independence by offering low and predictable energy costs while helping to meet their commitment to sustainable development.

“The new downtown reflects our commitment to current and future residents by providing an environment with modern living spaces and state-of-the-art amenities,” said Terri Cunliffe, CEO of Covenant Living. “This commitment goes even further with the installation of solar panels. We want to do our part to conserve energy while saving money. Covenant Living of Cromwell has been here for almost 60 years and now we are ready for many more years to come and do our part to be environmentally friendly.

According to Titan Energy, the lead consultant for this project, the solar panel will produce approximately 25% of the city center’s annual electricity consumption with clean solar energy, saving the community more than $40,000 $ per year / $1.4 million over the 20-year life of the system. .
