Greeley accountant named 2021 Everyday Hero for Community Service – Greeley Tribune

The Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) will recognize an accountant Greeley as one of the Five Everyday Heroes and Heroines of 2021 at the CPA’s Make a Difference Celebration on Nov. 11 at the Westin Denver Downtown.

CPA’s Ryan M. Sanger has a passion for helping future generations as a tax partner with BDO USA, LLP, in the Greeley office, according to a statement from COCPA.

Additionally, Sanger has a long list of accomplishments and community involvement, including serving as Executive Board Chair of Junior Achievement Northern Colorado/Wyoming, and as a former member of Northern Colorado United for Youth. and the Windsor Optimist. Club.

Sanger serves on Colorado State University’s Accounting Advisory Board and chairs the board of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. He is involved with the Colorado Centennials Baseball Association as a board member and coach.

The Everyday Heroes and Heroines Award is given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding service in involvement, leadership, and impact to nonprofit organizations and community activities.

“Ryan is truly an everyday hero,” BDO colleague Greg Anton wrote of Sanger. “His work for the organizations he volunteers with has directly impacted and improved the lives of hundreds of children – thousands indirectly, in fact. CPAs are often recognized for their efforts in large communities. Ryan has made a difference in northern Colorado. He did his job in a humble way and his community is better for him to be a part of.
