Coast Central Credit Union Spring Community Investment Program Opens | News

Coast Central Credit Union has announced that the Spring 2022 round of its Community Investment Program is now open. A total of $100,000 is available to support local organizations throughout its tri-county area. Grant amounts typically range from $3,000 to $25,000, and there are typically eight to 12 recipients. The giving program was established in 2008 and has since awarded a total of more than $1.7 million to 175 organizations in Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties. Recent grant recipients include Cooperation Humboldt, the Orleans Volunteer Fire Department, and the Weaverville Parks and Recreation District.

CCCU typically contributes more than $400,000 in annual giving to the community through its grants, sponsorship and college scholarship programs, as well as thousands of volunteer hours in its three counties. Through banking with CCCU, individuals and businesses directly support these efforts.

Council decisions will be announced by mid-April.
