GARDNERVILLE – The Douglas County Community & Senior Center and the Douglas County Community Services Foundation are very grateful for the exceptionally strong support Carson Valley Medical Center has provided the county with their renewed commitment to be the 2022 Naming Rights Sponsor for the eight scoreboards in the gymnasium at the Douglas County Community Center located on Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville.

All youth, adults and their families who spend time in the gym for hundreds of healthy activities will see the eight dashboards proudly sponsored by Carson Valley Medical Center with reminders for healthy lifestyle choices. Carson Valley Medical Center has sponsored Dashboards and supported center programs since 2016.

Carson Valley Medical Center (is a comprehensive community health system, providing high quality health care close to home to residents of Carson Valley and surrounding areas. The Douglas County Community Services Foundation was established in 2011 to support community and senior centers in Douglas County by the lake and in the valley. The primary focus was to support the construction of the new Douglas County Community and Seniors Center and its ongoing equipment and facility needs. The Foundation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation to provide funding for additional and ongoing improvements to the community and senior center with maximum accountability. The Foundation also acts as a liaison between the Douglas County government and private donors to maximize and accommodate the wishes of private donors.
