Broe Real Estate Group provides community meals, community services and local funding for non-profit organizations

SAVANNAH – Broe Real Estate Group’s community outreach in 2022 is poised to reach over a quarter of a million people across the Georgia coast. One hundred thousand meals were donated to Manna House Food Pantry in support of their campaign dedicated to fighting food insecurity across the Georgian coast. Additionally, a $10,000 donation to Effingham County United Way of the Coastal Empire is supporting vital services that reach 207,000 people in its four-county area.

Broe Real Estate Group is the lead developer of the Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub (SGIH), a 2,600-acre multimodal logistics park located in Effingham County, approximately 12 miles from the Port of Savannah. SGIH continues to attract new businesses, new investments and new jobs to the community. Since the park opened, four companies representing more than 200 new jobs have chosen to call the Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub their home. As the park continues to attract local investment, Broe Real Estate Group continues to invest in our local community.

United Way of the Coastal Empire Director, Elizabeth Waters, said, “United Way of the Coastal Empire is honored to have partners like Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub who not only understand the need for community support, but respond as they did it. Their donation will allow us to continue to provide a safety net to those in need as well as opportunities for upward mobility. We are grateful for their support of our families in Effingham County.

Manna House Ministries Inc. is a food pantry and thrift store serving Effingham and surrounding counties. According to their Managing Director, Lisa Bush, they are able to serve over 1,200 people in need each week, making the substantial contribution of Broe’s Real Estate Group a much needed asset to their programs.

“It’s important to The Broe Group that we help support our communities in which we live, work and invest,” said Broe Real Estate Group Senior Vice President Sean Fitzsimmons. “United Way and Manna House Ministries are making a positive difference in the lives of many people. We are proud to support their efforts in Effingham County.
