Balls Food Stores celebrates newly constructed and newly remodeled locations across the Kansas City area in 2021. In a year when the food industry has faced unique challenges, Balls Food Stores has continued with its plans internal improvement through its commitment to providing the best possible service to its communities. . The innovative projects focused on 4 sites:
- the Olathe, KS Hen House Market at 13600 S Blackbob Road celebrated a grand reopening in April. The redevelopment includes a drive-through pharmacy as well as updated services for flowers, meat, fresh produce, deli, bakery, grocery and customer services.
- Ball’s Price Chopper at 5665 Bannister Road in Kansas City, Missouri celebrated the opening of its new store on July 28. The new location measures approximately 50,000 square feet and replaces an old Price Chopper location that was one mile east of the new store.
- Ball’s Price Chopper located at 2107 S 4th Street in Leavenworth, KS celebrated its newly renovated store with a grand reopening on September 15th. The new location measures approximately 50,000 square feet and offers substantial improvements and expansions in almost all departments.
- Ball’s Price Chopper at 8430 Wornall Road in Kansas City, Missouri celebrated a grand reopening on December 8. The newly remodeled 37,000 square foot store is a major upgrade from the original and includes expanded grocery offerings and services for the community.
Each of these projects supports Balls Food Stores’ commitment to a cleaner environment. The projects involve the use of high efficiency refrigeration and LED lighting, which is 40% more energy efficient than traditional lighting.
